This 2021 Porsche Cayman GTS belongs to a long-standing customer who first came to us after a poor experience with another detailing company. Since then, we’ve looked after every vehicle in his collection on a regular maintenance plan. During routine visits, we noticed that heavy swirl marks, rotary buffer trails and sanding marks were preventing the Gentian Blue Metallic paint from showing its true depth and clarity. After living with the defects for a while, the owner decided it was time to restore the finish before summer.
Following a thorough decontamination and inspection, we carried out a two-stage paint correction to safely remove the majority of defects before protecting the freshly restored paintwork with a 7-year ceramic coating. Around 85% of the imperfections were eliminated, revealing a deep, mirror-like gloss that completely transformed the car. The owner was delighted with the result, describing the Cayman as “magnificent” and saying it looked even better than when it left the showroom.
